Free Defibrillator training online event POSTPONED

UPDATE. the trainer cannot log into Zoom to start the meeting so they have to re-schedule sorry

The Parish Council has invested in providing a Defibrillator for use on the Recreation Ground and by the wider community.

It is installed at the south east corner of the pavilion at the far end of the car park.
It is visible at night as it has a green homing light.

Comberton Parish Council have arranged with Community Heartbeat for their free virtual training for the defibrillator on June 8th at 7pm.

All participants will need to register their name and e-mail address using the link below and once done the joining link will be provided to them.

All participants that have registered will also receive a certificate of attendance.

  1. There is a vacancy on the above Council caused by
    Resignation of parish councillors.
  2. A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days (computed in accordance with the Regulations) from the date below ten electors for the parish give notice in writing requesting that an election be held.
  3. Such notice must be delivered to the Returning Officer at: South Cambridgeshire District Council, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge CB23 6EA
  4. If no such notice is given the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.

Elections 2021 results for Comberton

Comberton says goodbye to Lina Nieto (C) as County Councillor when she lost by five votes to Michael Atkins (LD).

Comberton has a new District Councillor in Fiona Elizabeth Whelan (LD).

Wider afield, the Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner is Darryl Preston (C) replacing Ray Bisby, with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mayor being Nik Johnson (L), replacing James Palmer

Comberton Annual Parish Meeting 2021 video available

The 2021 Annual Parish Meeting was held on Wednesday 5th May at 7:30pm via Zoom, so given COVID19 restrictions the audience was limited.

Following approval by the chairman, the Parish Council  provides a recording of the meeting  for those who were unable to attend. You will understand that the video quality is constrained by presenters internet connections.
